In 2012, veteran astronaut Chris Hadfield would become the first Canadian commander of the International Space Station. Hadfield will be making the trip in December 2012. He will be spending six months aboard the space station. Hadfield's ride to the space station would be a Russian Soyuz space craft according to the announcement made near Montreal this morning.
